Reservations
Provisional bookings will be held for a period of 14 days (2 weeks), after which time confirmation of the booking and payment of a 40% non-refundable deposit will be required, or the booking will automatically be released.
Confirmation of the booking will be made once an invoice has been issued by Lapwing Mobile Safaris, followed by the receipt of the 40% non-refundable deposit. If another agent confirms a booking with Lapwing Mobile Safaris on behalf of their client, it will be understood that the agent is holding the deposit and therefore they will be liable for the applicable cancellation penalties.
The balance of payment is required 60 days prior to the date that the safaris or activities commence. A booking made within 60 days of commencement is payable in full on confirmation.
Cancellations
Should you wish to cancel your booking please contact our office directly. All cancellations should be made in writing or e-mail and will only be deemed effective upon acknowledgement of receipt by Lapwing Mobile Safaris.
Cancellations will be subject to the following penalties:
• If you cancel 31 to 60 days before your trip starts:
You’ll be charged 50% of the total booking amount as cancellation fee.
•If you cancel 30 days or less before your arrival date:
You’ll be charged 100% of the booking amount (no refund).
Whilst a comprehensively stocked medical kit is supplied on all safaris, we recommend that all clients have full medical evaluation.
All clients are advised to take out cancellation and curtailment insurance.
